Profile Information

Tell us a bit about yourself!: I love sharing NVC and being with people who love NVC! It's brought a sense of richness and deep connection to my life. I am an ordained Buddhist, and I want NVC to be a safe place for people of all faiths, and none. I've written a book Empathy: the Art of Compassionate Presence.

What is your experience with NVC?: I've been certified with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC.org) since 2004 and travel to the US, Middle East, India and Sri Lanka to share NVC there. I run public trainings, practise mediation, coaching and couples counselling. In 2011 I ran a reconciliation retreat for 100 Israelis and Palestinians near the Dead Sea. I love writing about NVC as a way of reaching people. I've written a series of articles on NVC parenting for Juno magazine. I also bring my communication and mediation skills into my role as Coordinator of the UK & Ireland Men's Regional Order Convenors for the Triratna Buddhist Order.

What needs do you hope this site will meet for you?: To spread compassionate communication in the UK and worldwide.
